COVID-19: SEURECA'S TEAMS REMAIN MOBILIZED TO MAINTAIN THE CONTINUITY OF ESSENTIAL ACTIVITIES

Since the beginning of the Covid-19 crisis our teams around the world remain focused on supporting our customers in their priority projects, particularly on-site, while strictly complying with essential safety measures.

Seureca’s engagements in our operational support projects

In the scope of "light CAPEX" activities and engagements in various geographic areas, Seureca operates infrastructures for drinking water production and distribution under management contracts for public entities and with the backing of various financial institutions.

Our teams have set up the appropriate actions and organizations to ensure the continuity of management contracts. In the Dominican Republic where we are associated with the Société des Eaux de Marseille, for example, to accompany the National Institute of Drinking Water and Sanitation (INAPA*) of San Cristobal in ensuring their services to the inhabitants, as well as in Angola, to assist the Cuanza Sul Province regional water board in maintaining the production and distribution of drinking water for the city of Sumbe.

Mobilization of INAPA teams in the Dominican Republic and training activities in Angola.

Commitments in Seureca’s works management projects

Seureca assists La Congolaise Des Eaux to guarantee the production and distribution continuity of drinking water in the Republic of the Congo, where on March 31, 2020, the head of state decreed a state of emergency. Our teams are in charge of reinforcing the drinking water supply to Brazzaville as well, a priority project for the government.

Reinforcement works for the Abidjan drinking water supply from the La Mé River - April 2020.

In the Ivory Coast, activities are maintained on the two works management projects to improve the drinking water supply from the La Mé River to the city of Abidjan, and from the Bandama River to the city of Bouaké. Our teams are likewise pursuing a study to upgrade the Akouédo waste landfill site near Abidjan.

In Cameroon, our project management teams have also remained engaged in the field where priority projects remain in progress.
