Seureca reasserts its commitment to gender diversity in engineering

For the International Women's Rights Day, Seureca, signatory of the Syntec-Ingénierie charter for gender diversity, reaffirms its commitment to improve the position of women in engineering.

The Gender Diversity Charter aims to involve engineering stakeholders around three goals: attracting women to engineering, retaining female talent, and enabling them to progress.

To achieve these objectives, concrete actions have been taken internally, divided in two areas:

Area 1 : Promote engineering careers to young people

  • Deployment of the "Ma Ville en Vert" project to introduce engineering careers to female students at the Charles Péguy high school in Bobigny.
  • Offering one-week discovery internships in June 2023.
  • Hosting a ninth-grade student to allow her to discover a technical career on March 8

Area 2 : Encourage work-life balance for everyone

  • Flexibility at work : schedule management, remote working and part-time work.
  • Raising awareness among male employees about taking paternity leave.
  • Supporting employees in reintegrating their role after their maternity, paternity or parental leave.
