Feasibility study and project management for the structuring and reinforcement of a sewage sludge line
ONEA
In 2016, Burkina Faso adopted an ambitious National Water Policy (NWP) covering the period 2016-2030. This policy, which includes five programs, aims to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals set up by the United Nations and in particular the goal of "Ensuring access to water and sanitation for all and ensuring sustainable management of water resources".
The National Wastewater and Excreta Sanitation Program, one of the components of the PNE, aims to ensure sustainable wastewater and excreta sanitation for the population by 2030. In this context, the National Office of Water and Sanitation (ONEA) has obtained funding from the French Development Agency (AFD) for a feasibility study and project management for the design of a program to structure and strengthen the sludge management sector in the cities of Ouagadougou and Bobo Dioulasso. This study, whose objective is to strengthen and develop the non-collective sanitation service in the cities of Ouagadougou and Bobo Dioulasso, has been entrusted to SEURECA.
